it was amazing

The book in which the story turns, and all the pieces are on the board. "Brief Lives" is departure from previous Sandman stories: sort of a buddy road trip, but with serious consequences. "World's End" showcases Gaiman's ability to taking seemingly disparate stories and weave them into a larger tapestry. The single issue tales are also excellent, particularly the poignant (and still quite relevant) "Ramadan."
