This historical fiction tells the imagined tale of real-life character Etta Place, who was a companion of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The book poses a history for a woman about whom little is known. Along the way, she befriends other real-life characters like Eleanor Roosevelt and Buffalo Bill. I enjoyed the story, and it made me curious about what really happened to Etta Place.
