I had the author as my professor in college (and advisor). This is a very thorough book on the book of Revelation in the Bible. It's hard to separate contentin my memory of his class vs his book, but I know he was very thorough covering the various perspectives of interpreting the book in the Christian community. I would look it up now, but my ex-husband kept my copy of the book. I want to buy another copy and ask Dr Maahs to sign it. He did say he liked my paper for his Daniel and Revelation class so much he wanted to incorporate parts of it in his next edition...

Colleen Hi Crystal,
I just stumbled upon this book. I didn't realize that Dr. Maahs wrote any books. I ordered a copy and should receive it tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to reading it. I loved attending the Daniel and Revelation class, so I know this book is going to be great.

Crystal awesome! Yes, it's very thorough. I believe it is, or at least was, used as the text on the subject at Princeton Theological Seminary. His class was interesting...when I took it, he used this as one of our texts.
