This one really was a page turner, and just fun reading. Characters I could really get attached to, and a couple of mysteries that drew me in and kept me reading long after bedtime. Hannah and Claire were both smart, inquisitive and tough, perfect heroines. As Hannah becomes tangled in solving the death of a princess who some believe had been murdered in 1670, we also follow Claire as she reads Hannah's diaries hundreds of years later, and finds herself embroiled in a murder mystery of her own. The book goes back and forth between the the 1670's and modern time, but is very easy to follow. I highly recommend this book, and plan to read the other one by Ms. Phillips - The Rosetti Letter.
