When Cameron learns he is going to die, all he wants is to live. But he learns there is a big difference between just existing and actually living.

I wanted to like the story. I enjoyed the escapades and the blurriness of perception and reality. However, it all felt extremely contrived. The beginning of the book was far better written. Cameron's sarcasm was phenomenal; were this not an ARC, I would have quotes galore. As the story went on, it almost felt like something a teen would write about themselves. In that light, I do think teens will enjoy the story. It makes for a great drama/comedy/road trip/life or death story. But for me, the book fell short of actually being good.

Pyewacket I totally agree with your comment that it felt like something a teen would write about themselves. It was a good idea for a story, and I enjoyed all of the characters Cameron met on his trip. However, the ending left me feeling a little empty. I do like the "just existing/actually living"...makes you think.
