really liked it

I'll start by saying this was a book I was really looking forward to reading. However, my timing for reading it sucked. It was due at the library, which made me read it faster than I would have liked to...yada yada yada. And it was really hard for me to get into at first because (obviously, if you've read the summary) Thomas's memory gets erased and he doesn't know much anymore. That was difficult.

I did warm up to the story, though. It reminded me of The Hunger Games a few times (not a bad thing, but just a tad disappointing in the fact that it wasn't as original as I'd hoped).

There were some really cool moments, especially if you like mysteries (since very little got explained at times). The characters were pretty cool, although I wish we'd gotten to know a few better. Perhaps in the next book.
