I wasn't sure I'd enjoy this book, because I don't normally read "chick-lit" but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised!

It was very well written, with realistic characters and parts of it that were laugh-out-loud funny. Great humor. Making it even more entertaining was Angus, the West Highland terrier, owned by the main character. It was obvious the author loved and understood dogs and Angus was a great character.

I enjoyed the love story which was believable and also enjoyed the ending. I'm now going to read more of this authors novels, especially Catch of the Day, which won the 2008 RITA award at Romance Writers of America.
