Sisters in Time

This story really opened my eyes as to how far we have come through technology since 1872! Two women, from two totally different eras somehow change bodies, and each finds themselves in the other woman's body. Mariah (the woman from 1872) is a very proper lady. She doesn't cuss, wear anything she deems as inappropriate and when it comes to anything sexual she feels it is improper to make the first move. Taylor on the other hand (the woman from 2002) is quite the opposite. She's headstrong, independent, has a strong sexual appetite and cusses like a sailor. When they wake up and find that neither one is who they think they are and their husbands certainly aren't who they think THEY are, the fun begins. How on earth do you get used to two very different time periods? And their husbands (who are both gorgeous by the way), have to deal with how frustrating it is to look at the woman you married who looks the same, smells the same but whose actions are completely opposite of how they usually behaved. My favorite character was Taylor. She is thrown back in time with none of the conveniences of modern day and she has a temper. Some of the things she said and did were hilarious.
Sisters in Time was an exciting, funny, eye opening read that just made me feel good. Ms. Simpson did an outstanding job with the vivid imagery and the engaging plot line was like nothing I have read before. I found Sisters in time to be a lighthearted, lively and fun read with great characters who are likable and engaging with sharp dialogue. Ms. Simpson has produced yet another winner with her new book Sisters in Time and I look forward to reading more of her work. Her books keep getting better and better and she will always remain an automatic add to my to be read list. I strongly recommend you pick up Sisters in Time, you don't want to miss this one.
