This is an erotica anthology of sorts. Or more like two connecting novellas.
The first novella is about Lacey Vaughn, the trainer and owner of a successful gym, who goes from one bad-news boyfriend to the next. After her latest man-disaster her best friend, Nick, steps in. Turns out he’s been in love with Lacey for years. Being an Alpha, he’s also had more than enough of this “best friend” stuff and decides it’s time to make Lacey his. Forever.

The second novella is about Lacey’s brother, Blade, an Uber-Alpha. He’s in love with Candy, one of Lacey’s fav customers. Unfortunately, Candy was the victim of date rape, which landed her in the hospital and the man who raped her in prison. Blade definitely has his work cut out for him when he decides to seduce her. But being an Uber, he’s up for the job (no pun intended…well, maybe *lusty grin*).

These are two very sweet, romantic, erotica novellas. Both are well-written, fast-paced, and HOT. I’m sure you’re wondering about this, so never fear. Rainey’s Alpha and Uber heroes did not irritate me. Maybe that’s because they were sweet beneath all that Uberness rather than mean like the typical Uber hero. Miracles never cease, right?! LOL

So if you need a good read, look no further. You will absolutely love this one. No doubt about it.
