First novel by Lisa Mangum and it is being compared to Twilight. Hopefully it will get the chance to get that much exposure. High School girl meets Dante, a mysterious stranger, who just happens to have come from another century. The time traveling aspect is explained well and the characters have depth. Had a few issues with some of the explanations of time travel and the impact it has on our heroine, Abby. (She is really bothered by just coming into contact with Dante and later they are able to kiss and hug.) Also the drama teacher acted in a way that would get him fired in any school district. Did appreciate that the novel is clean and appropriate for teens. Biggest frustration will be waiting until next summer for the sequal to come arrive.
