This is the book to read if you want to know more about "The Macy's Conferences". If you asked me, this is where it all began. The people that attened this event from 1946 to 1953 were the most powerful thinkers of the 20th century.

This book accounts for the people and the dynamics of these conferences. Can you imagine going to a conference with:
Gregory Bateson
Julian Bigelow
Warren McCulloch
Margaret Mead
John von Neumann
Walter Pitts
Norbert Wiener
Heinz von Forster
W Ross Ashby
Claude Shannon

Seriously! All that we need to know to solve these techno-social problems of today were being solved back in the 40's adn 50's.
