So I finally read Erasmus, which I guess not too many people do these days. It's not un-enjoyable, really. The thing is, there's such a total distance I feel from Erasmus' worldview that I can't fully appreciate it. It's short and influential, so it's worth three hours of your time, especially if you have an interest in the Renaissance or the birth of humanism.
