I liked the premise of this book - Jane is a "guide" to help people disappear - a pretty cool profession, if you think about it (minus the gory parts), but I found parts of the book very confusing and hard to follow. The background on Native American history is an interesting aspect of this book, but can detract from the story. Very PC, though. Having just read the teaser/first chapter of the next book - I think I'm going to have to look for it at the library...
