A great summertime read. Auden is a socially awkward teen who has focused solely on academics her whole life. She spontaneously decides to visit her father, his new, young wife and their baby daughter during the summer before college.

Since her parents' divorce, Auden has suffered from insomnia and has difficulty sleeping at night. While on her nightly perusing of the town, she meets Eli, a boy who suffered a great loss and has had trouble dealing with it.

Auden's journey of self-discovery is lovely and believable. The plot will keep readers's interest, and the characters are well-rounded and relatable.

My only complaint has to do with the cover. Featuring a ripped boy on a bike with a girl in a pink skirt and top, it's too frothy for the book's substance.
