Fast-paced, sharp and fun, this ghost story has a huge emotional impact. Cass's pain is so strong, it makes her sometimes horrible actions completely believable and even sympathetic, and watching her make her first real emotional connection in years is really moving. Without giving any spoilers, I really loved the ending and enjoyed the whole book.
