While it wasn't anything breath-taking, it was a cute story and an easy read. What I have always loved about Maureen Johnson is that her writing is so real - everything is believable and so easily pictured in your mind. The book doesn't simply focus on the "romance" aspect, but is instead on Ginny's traveling and her personal growth (which is sometimes hard to find in a YA novel). Overall, it was definitely an interesting story that still leaves the reader wondering after the last page.
