Elinor learns her husband is having an affair while cleaning out her purse in the laundry room, her sanctuary. She hears him on the phone explaining that they can't see each other so much.

Elinor has been trying to get pregnant unsuccessfully for 2 years, and has been told it's her age. While Gina, her husbands lover is the epitomy of health, youth and optimism, Elinor is no longer carries these traits.

Can their marriage be saved after infertility AND adultry roller coasters they are currently on?

Very good book, the first page had me hooked with more twists than I expected.

It is sad how much people have to go through in order to try and have babies. The people that want them the most, often have the hardest time getting pregnant.

I am glad that Elinor was going to file for seperation in the end. Ted clearly was happier with Gina, and Elinor saw that.
