This is book 19 of the Dark Hunter contemporary fantasy/paranormal romance series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. It is NOT a book you should attempt to read out of order. Fang and Aimee's story has so many references to past events, it's not going to make sense out of order, and it will definately spoil the surprises in several past books. I'm impressed by how intricately interwoven the stories are; how does Ms. Kenyon keep it all straight? This book is also the launching pad for the future direction of the series - there are TONS of different kinds of demons on the scene now, and all sorts of warriors to fight them, plus enticing hints about Nick, Salvitar, Jaden, and a new guy named Thorn.
