The Quincunx by Charles Palliser

A big and sprawling story of Victorian London, Palliser's The Quincunx was an interesting read while also a bit tedious at times. I have to say that it kinda felt like a modern retelling of Dickens' Bleak House, and I half expected Mr. Tulkinghorn to pop up and create more mischief. The Quincunx was pretty well-written, and I'm glad that I read it, but I don't know that I'd ever read it again.
