I'm really not sure this is a strong 3 but I certainly liked the book so it didnt deserve a 2. I started this series afer my current fix of Stephanie Plum and I love those books (but they only get a 3 too because cmon they arent literary gold). I'm not convinced these books are as great as SP but this one kept me interested enough I jumped right into the second one.
I'm okay without the obligitory sex scene at the end of the book, sometimes less is more I didn't need quite so many details. I'm pressing forward because I'm really wanting to see Sinclair develop more of a personality than tall, dark, handsome, and brooding. I'm hoping he becomes a little more well rounded and loveable. Perhaps Betsy will not be SO self indulgent and get some more meat to her character.
