really liked it

An entertaining read about the World Fair in Chicago. I enjoyed reading about both storylines, although they never really synced up together very well. Also, the end of the Holmes story was rather anticlimactic. Despite these nitpicks, it was a very interesting read. I initially thought it would be 4.5 stars, but the ending brought it back down to 4.
