Instead of having an epic storyline that is worthy of explaining how the two heroes meet and become friends (as much as Batman can have friends), these are nothing more than a decade of quick one-or-two issue stories that are loosely tied together by a recurring event. The writers took the easy way out rather than create something worthy of the name.
