Libby Day finds herself as an adult after the massacre of her family but returns to the crime when she begins to question if her brother is really responsible. The book is a good balance of the present and past for most of the novel. Libby's character was interesting in that she wasn't very likeable and is bitter and angry because she feels the world owes her. The only problem with the book is the last few chapters. I didn't find the ending very believable in what occurred in the past and the present day story just got really strange.
