This is a raw account of Cupcake Brown and her real life of drugs, sex and redemption and how yuou can turn it all around if you just believe in yourself. Not for the faint of heart or those who believe that life is all cupcakes and puppy dogs. I love the way she uncovered the raw truth of how the world, foster system and sometimes even your own flesh and blood can be real ugly. A definite favorite. J.R. Randle Adriane, this book is resting on my shelf...and I can't wait to read it. Raw, Is what I expected from this memoir.

Adriane It will take you all of one day to finish! I was reading this book every single moment I had, it was just that engrossing and to think I brought it on a whim!

J.R. Randle Oh wow! I have to read, Left to Tell:Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust, by Immaculee Ilibagiza first and A Piece of Cake should be next for Novemeber. I'm in the midst of reading several other great books.

Aberjhani Hmmmm, I'm always intrigued by books that dare to confront the ugly and depressing with the beautiful and inspiring.
