really liked it
bookshelves: humour, fantasy, own
Recommended for: Pratchett fans, and anyone else who'd enjoy a little cultural and religious satire.
Read in July, 2009 — I own a copy , read count: 2

This book is probably one of Terry Pratchett's funniest, and yet it doesn't seem to portray anything of Neil Gaiman's influence until the very end. Still, the story of a modern-day armageddon manages to poke fun at society, religion and human nature, and reunites us with Pratchett's unstoppably brilliant Death. It's a must-read.. to the extent I really do struggle to review this book.
