I'm not sure I can explain why I liked this book so much. It reminded me of ROBINSON CRUSOE ... with vampire-zombies. I liked how Robert Neville spends his time trying to debunk the vampire legends. I liked how he wonders if Muslim or Atheist vampires would fear the Cross. I see why this book is a classic, and why guys like George Romero are indebted to it.
