I read about half of this book before I gave up reading it. I couldn't get into the characters or the story. While I enjoyed McCarthy's style in "The Road", it was harder to get through in this novel. I found myself having to reread a lot of the lines to figure out who was talking and it became more of an ordeal than anything else. I lost interest in learning more about the story and characters and will probably not finish reading this book.
