did not like it
bookshelves: mystery, bleah, gave-up-no-longer-own, could-not-even-finish
Read in July, 2009

I got through the first 65 pages. That was more than enough. I'm actually going to return this to B&N. For 6.99 I should at least be able to read what I buy.

Boring, unoriginal characters who were described in each chapter, despite repeat information. Tissue-thin plot. Steroetypical sub-plot devices. I really wanted to like this, but I just couldn't. I like light reading, but this was too light for me.

mary You made it 60 pages farther than I did, but since mine was from the library, I didn't have your motivation!

Books, ghosts, mystery . . . should have been a home run.

Deena should have been a home run.

Annette Blair's latest series started with a cute, fluffy little thing called A Veiled Deception that was far better. (Still not Great Literature, of course, but it wasn't supposed to be) A murder, couture, and a ghost - very cute!

Jaime Brooks You two should try Juliet Blackwell!
