really liked it

Simon Singh is a very good writer. He makes complicated things (especially if it is related to math) easier to understand.

This book ia about a short history of secret code. I use this book to teach my security class. You can think this book as a follow-up to David Kahn's book (The Code Breaker), which is complete but too complete for me.

Since this book is so small, the stories are limitted. I would love to see him writing an expanded version of this book.
