In book 3, Janie must face her future - what her ability means for her physical development and how that will affect her mentally, emotionally, and in her relationships.

I didn't like this book as much as the other 2 - the first book was by far the best of the trilogy. There wasn't a mystery to be solved, unless you count the secret of Janie's father and the legacy he leaves in her life. This book was way more internally focused than the others (and yes, I realize the series is written in dairy form, so you get that), and I missed the use of her abilities in a larger context.
