Nikki She wasn't justified in complaining that she would have been barred from libraries, banned from walking where men were allowed to walk? I don't remember her complaining about the fact she had a room of her own and the necessary income -- I got the impression she thought herself lucky, and well-placed, and thought that was why she could do as much as she did.
