Susan and her husband Tim are planning to divorce when they finish their business trip in Italy. At a turning point in their time in Italy they decide to change course, move their kids to Genoa and take a year to try again. This is an account of that year. Many wonderful stories, poignant, funny wise and intimate snippets that chart Susan's year away from the stresses of suburbia and toward a definition of a new life for her family.
