I enjoyed this book, with it's culinary focus. I haven't made any of the recipes therein, as I read it mainly to prepare for my trip to Paris. In that way, it's similar to other books written by expats living in Paris, and most of the stories that weren't focused on food were similar to ones I had already read. If you are any kind of foodie, this is an excellent book to read before a trip to Paris, or one to cook from to transport you there.
