Busily engaged on my quest to read all P. D. James' novels by the end of the summer. I really like her writing style -- her descriptions and her characters especially. This one was interesting as it dealt with nurses. I wish there had been fewer suspect interviews and more dialogue about what qualities make the best nurse. Also a little more pointed feminist commentary about the nursing profession in the 1970s. There is some but not enough for me.
