It took me a little longer than I expected to become really invested in this book BUT when it did grab my interest it was hard to put down, I give it that. And in the end, aside from the hurried Clary-Jace resolution (not hard to see that coming but I was still peeved), I was mostly content with how the story left off. I anticipate that the second in the series will resolve my little gripes. ]]>
