It is a must-read book for you freshmen out there, which is y I read it.

David clearly told a story of an average (well not really) smart freshie that tries to survive in high school.

Friendships are both made and lost...

Problems arise in school and family...

Choices are both made and ignored...

It says it all: bullies, girlfriends, dances, councils and newspapers, drama plays, students committing suicide or in hospital, goths, swearings, awful gym lessons, you name it.

As you read it, you will encounter mostly the humor and the suspense, which makes this book interesting (well all novels are like that).

However, it would've been more interesting if the author had mentioned other students' perspectives in high school as well. Oh well

In overall, go ahead and read it; it's worth reading it. If you are less than or = to a freshman, it is recommended. If you are over a freshman, it is fun to read it and think over the good ol "fresh" days. :D
