it was amazing

Goldhammer's writing was simplisticly beautiful. I am a big memoir fan, and this was one of the best I've read in a long time. Goldhammer explores her divorce and the beginning of her new life with wit and grace. The chickens, while an interesting and important part in her life, become a metaphor for renewal, rebirth, and survival. All in all, a great (and quick) read.
