I don't think that a summary is necessary for this book. The whole plot is there in the title. I have a friend (Hi Trina) who argues that the whole thing is a gimmick and I think she is right. But it is a very amusing gimmick.

While I understand the author's need to maintain some resemblence to the plot of Pride and Prejudice, this books needed more zombies. The England of this novel is fraught with peril, but I can't understand it. The central premise is that the author just took Pride and Prejudice and shoved zombies into it; it kinda reads like that. Less Lizzy and Darcy and more (and scarier) zombies would have been helpful. That said, I plan to start tossing out the insult "manky dreadful" whenever possible.
