This one really sat well with me. I loved Conn's matter-of-fact, cheerful voice. He was plucky, and he didn't feel sorry for himself. I also enjoyed the way the relationships evolved in the story, without the author really having to explain them. The plotline was good--not thrilling--but it was the characters that really caught my attention. I'm looking forward to the second book!
