I was charmed by the quirky writing in the first half of this book. Unfortunately the second half became rather unbelievable -- not the neurosis suffered by a main character, that was completely believable. But I couldn't buy the extent that three or four rational intelligent characters went to in order to help the neurotic one maintain her delusions, and the plan they hatched to "cure" her was even more far-fetched and illogical.
