I really enjoyed listening to this book. One of my favorites in the series. It brings up some very interesting questions on the genetics manipulation debate.
Eve is investigating a clearly self defense homicide in a highly reputed reconstructive surgery clinic, when she is called about another homicide at the same clinic. The founder and top surgeon of the clinic is found dead in his office. Signs seem to point to a professional hit. Of course when Eve sinks her teeth into the investigation she learns alot more about the good doctor. And starts to ask alot more questions about him and his squeaky clean record, his past and his life.
In a subplot it is nearing the Thanksgiving holiday and Rourke has invited his newly found family from Ireland to stay with them. This is as entertaining as the main plot as Eve and Rourke learn to deal with family and friends in their life.
