Seth and Ashlinn are young and in love, but oh noes! Ash is immortal now, unlike Seth. Will the scheming Keenan steal Ash's heart away? Will Seth find a way to become immortal, too? And what's up with the wicked Bananach, is she about to start a war between all the faeries? This would have been an enjoyable soap opera if it weren't so bloated and slow-paced. I like the characters in this series, but not much happens, at all. The ending is left totally open, as if the purpose of this book was solely to create a bridge for a fourth book, which I may not bother to read.
