There were a few really profound and touching parts to this book, and many so-so parts. Overall I am glad that I read this book because I do agree that it's one of those books everyone should read at least once. I would possibly read it again at a different part of my life, but I'm not in a big hurry for that yet.
Siddartha is the story of the journey of one man to find peace and true happiness. He tries pretty much everything along the way and finally at the end of a long a full life he achieves his goal. The important thing about this book is not how Siddartha found peace, but what he learned when going on the journey of life in search of it.
