really liked it

** spoiler alert ** This one is sad.

Artemis is using retrofitted fairy technology for one last not-so-legit business deal before he decides to go legit and quit being a young criminal mastermind like his parents--both reformed now--want. However, his new business partner double-crosses him, Butler gets shot, and the only way Artemis can save Butler and stop his now ex-partner from exposing fairy-kind is to beg for help from the very fairies he's been causing problems for since book 1.

The price for their cooperation is high: They'll finally get to memory-whipe him, thinking fairy-kind would be free of the most dangerous human they've ever met.

I still think the faries were stupid at the end. Artemis was going to reform, willingly, only because of his experiences over the previous two books and the third book's plot clinched it, and then they reboot his mind. Naturally, he goes back to being a young criminal mastermind. So they just created their own worst enemy, again.
