Paul's review
Paul, I see you marked to read both this book and McCarthy's "The Road." I think you will appreciate "The Road." After reading it myself--my first McCarthy book--I can't wait to get to this one. All in good time.
Hey there, Dustin. I happen to be up late on east coast time with you. I'm here in Orlando this week. :)
Yes, I saw your interesting review on "The Road," and I knew I had to check it out. Then, I saw "No Country for Old Men" and recognized the title is an allusion to one of my all-time favorite poems, "Sailing to Byzantium" by William Butler Yeats. Truly brilliant poetry by the greatest poet (in my mind) of the 20th century. I actually plan to buy both books this week at B&N. I'm anxious to get started after your glowing review of "The Road," which lets me know this must be a skilled author indeed.
