I honestly don't expect much from a Stephanie Plum novel. A few laughs, some sexy Ranger or Morelli action, a couple of explosions...perhaps an appearance by Bob and/or Grandma...that's pretty much all it takes to make me happy. Finger Lickin' Fifteen managed to not just make me happy but also make up for the abomination that was the last Between the Numbers novel, Plum Spooky. At a rough patch in my life when I needed some really good laughs, Finger Lickin' Fifteen stepped up and did its job, making me actually laugh out loud several times. Sure there's not much intellectual value in a Stephanie Plum novel....but it's good fun and a great distraction when real life becomes too much.
