liked it
bookshelves: mystery

I found this one comparatively dull; the tone of the novel was very dreary and morbid, and the main male and female characters were extremely unsympathetic. It really makes you wonder what makes them tick, and why they let themselves be trapped in such an unrewarding, depressing relationship. The only bright point was Midge Hardcastle and Edward Angkatell's development towards the end, which I found quite adorable.

Ana Lopes Completely agree. The murder victim was a complete bastard and the supposed heroine is a lame friend and, judging by the last sentence, quite off her rocker!
