it was amazing

Elizabeth Berg shows the significance of "ordinary" moments in "ordinary" lives. She writes beautifully, and these are some of my favorite short stories, stories of caring for elderly parents, of loving someone you can't have, of hiding out in the bathroom during a family Christmas, and more.

I agree. She has a way of taking really intimate moments and bringing out the touching/hilarious/awkwardness of them without making being overly sentimental or forcing the joke. It's hard to do.
