This book wasn't as good as the first. Jason Bourne is still the hard core killer/agent and is one of the smartest men the government has but I felt like Ludlum spent too much time focusing on some of the story line and the book felt too long. I think that this book needed to be about 100 pages shorter to really be a great book.

The story revolved around the Middle East and a coup that Bourne is recruited to stop. There is quite a bit of action and a lot of deceit throughout the book.
