really liked it

The beginning of this book is shocking and horrifying, but once you get past that part, the rest is a beautiful story. It's long, and covers (more than) a span of a lifetime, so it's a little slow-paced at times, but the historical references and figures are neat. Takes place in DaVinci-era Florence.
